Welcome to the Future

Daniel’s been to amazing places, eaten the finest food, lounged with beautiful women, and slain terrifying monsters: but he hasn’t left his home in seven years. How is this possible you ask? Daniel lives in the future.

My futuristic novel is set in a world completely of my own device (which, i have to say, was a blast to create; as I love the technology and science of the present, and what I’ve come up with for the future is pretty darn sweet), and features my protagonist, who’s agoraphobic (he hasn’t left his apartment in seven years) his best friend, that’s a hologram (and quite the gourmet cook) and a video game system that’s nothing short of magical.

I wont give too much more of it away here, as it’s probably not good business practice to do so before i find a publisher to work with me (call me 😉 ), but i will say that it’s nothing like anything you’ve ever read before.

For those interested in facts and numbers:

To an editor (where six characters count as a word) it’s 101,000 words; and to a human (no offense editors) it’s 92,000. It’s in the sci/fi genre, with a bit of high fantasy thrown into the mix for good measure (which helps to make it extra-special), and is one of – at least – three books directly linked to the main characters in the story, with a decent chance of being adaptable to film (No – I don’t want to play the lead), and is highly likely to lead me into another series of books set in the same world, but with a completely different cast of characters, that play a minor role in the 2nd book of the first series – which I’ve already started (is it just me or was that confusing? Oh well, you’re smart people… read it again, it’ll make sense).

Anyway that’s all I have to say on the matter right now, I’ll update this section just as soon as the book goes on sale, to tell you where you can buy your copies, who published it, and when you might expect the rest of the books in the series to drop.

Thanks for taking the time to read about my novel, and, as Daniel might say, good creative people;

“Have a quantum day”

(Here’s a sample chapter — just in case you’ve not yet scratched that itch ;-))

    Wow, that’s very ambitious! I actually want to write a book of my own one day, perhaps a series of three! But right now my blog consumes my life! LOL! But anyway, I wanted to say I wish you all of the luck in the world! And I can’t wait for this section to be updated, because you know what that means!!!!
